Our PTA needs your help to build a strong school community and help our scholars and staff be successful! You can participate in many ways, with varying time commitments. Whatever your availability, you CAN make a difference at our school!

Be a Busy Bee
One of the easiest ways to help out at Barringer is to participate in our Friday morning Busy Bee meetings. Join other volunteers in the PTA room (next to the office) beginning at 8 a.m. to perform "busy work" jobs for our teachers while you get to know fellow BAC parents. No special skills are needed and there's no commitment required - come as often as you can and stay as long as you like! Busy Bees will begin meeting on Friday, September 14.
Be an "On Call" Volunteer
The PTA sponsors many programs throughout the year, including our Fall Festival, two Book Fairs, and Staff Appreciation week. These activities are run by PTA program chairs who always need extra hands to make their events successful. If you are able to come for a few hours on an as-needed basis to help with an activity or event, please email us to be added to our list of available program volunteers.

Would you like to make a regular volunteer commitment? The PTA relies on parent volunteers to organize and run all our programs, including the Yearbook, Staff Appreciation, the Fall Festival, and this website!
